Parents, join the Toddler Playgroup where your little ones can enjoy an environment made just for them. The facility features two rooms designed for arts and crafts, imaginative play, games, ride on toys, and much more, joined by two child size bathrooms and a changing station. This is a great way for parents to meet other parents, while the children play with other children. Membership cards may be purchased at the Park and Recreation Office.
Nerfkins (Doesn't run in summer) Ages 3 - 5 years
Parents must stay in the gym during the class.
Nerfkins is a class for your energetic three to
five year olds. Using nerfballs and other soft
equipment, your child will be introduced to sports
while learning basic ball handling skills and
developing hand-eye coordination.They will play
and develop skills in basketball, soccer,
baseball and other gym games.

SoccerTikes
SoccerTikes is a physical development program for
children between the ages of 3 to 6. This program
uses a variety of fun games to delight and engage
kids in physical activity. We stress a non-competitive
environment and promote fun above all else. We mix
in fun, skill development activities with actual
small sided games. SoccerTikes is a Connecticut
based company that has been involved in the
development of young athletes for the past 7 years.
SoccerTikes programs are professionally designed to
develop motor skills, promote physical fitness, and
help to foster self-confidence. The instructor to
child ratio is small and all classes are co-ed.
SoccerTikes programs are centered around an attitude
of accomplishment and positive self-esteem for kids.

CHALLENGER BRITISH SOCCER

This camp selects qualified and talented coaches from Britain
who trained specifically for these camps. Each member of the staff
has a genuine interest in helping each player develop and providing
them with a memorable and positive experience. Each camper receives
a free t-shirt and soccer ball. Always bring a soccer ball, shin guards,
sunscreen and plenty of water each day.

SKYHAWKS T-BALL
Ages 4-7
Skyhawks T-ball is designed to teach the fundamental skills
of T-ball fielding, catching, throwing, hitting and base running.
Each athlete will learn basic skills in exercises tailored to
individuals through tee hitting. The week will culminate in a
fun World Series T-ball Tournament.

Youth Tennis
The Summer Tennis Camp Program for children meets
Monday through Thursday (Friday is the make-up day
for any class cancelled due to inclement weather),
in weekly sessions. This concentrated format helps
to improve skills by providing daily practice and
reinforcement. All Pee Wees and campers receive a
free t-shirt; repeat sign-ups receive a free water
bottle. There will also be a prize day held each week.

Pee Wee– This action packed class
provides Pee Wees with an introduction to the game of tennis.
Focus is on drills and games to improve hand-eye coordination
alongside instruction on forehands, backhands and volleys.
Tennis Camp– Each day of camp,
players are introduced to a different stroke of the day including
the forehand, backhand, serve and volley. These strokes will be
incorporated into game situations. Footwork, grips, and tennis etiquette
will also be covered. This camp also offers a cross-training component
to enhance player’s coordination and endurance. Games such as soccer,
hockey, and dodge ball will be played. Campers will play a minimum of
ninety minutes of tennis. Players will be grouped by ability level.
